A varrásos foglalkozáson a gyerekek egy kicsit közelebb kerültek a textilek és a divattervezés izgalmas világához. 👗 Beszélgettünk a ruhákról, a tervezésről, a híres divattervezőkről és az alkotás öröméről, a gobelinezést pedig a gyakorlatban is kipróbálhatták. 🪡🧶
Az együtt töltött idő nemcsak új ismereteket és tapasztalatokat hozott, hanem inspirációt is adott a gyerekeknek ahhoz, hogy felfedezzék saját kreativitásukat. 💚
👚 Külön köszönjük Szigetfalvi Gabriellának, az Aranypart méret utáni szabóság és divattervező műhely tulajdonosának az adományba kapott ruhákat! 🪡 Szigetfalvi Gabriella gyermek- és felnőttruhák tervezésével és kivitelezésével, 2 éves kortól gyermekruhák készítésével, valamint ruhák igazításával és átalakításával is foglalkozik, és nagy szeretettel igyekezett segíteni a fiataloknak. 👗 Nagy öröm számunkra, hogy a felajánlásával lehetőséget adott a gyerekeknek arra, hogy a ruhákon keresztül is ismerkedjenek a divat világával. ❤️

During our sewing workshop, the children got a little closer to the exciting world of textiles and fashion design. 👗 We talked about clothes, design, famous fashion designers and the joy of creating, and the children also had the opportunity to try their hand at tapestry embroidery. 🪡🧶
The time we spent together brought not only new knowledge and experiences but also inspiration, encouraging the children to discover their own creativity. 💚
👚 A special thank you to Gabriella Szigetfalvi, owner of the Aranypart Bespoke Tailoring and Fashion Design Studio, for donating the clothes! 🪡 Gabriella Szigetfalvi designs and makes clothing for both children and adults, creates clothes for children aged two and above, and also offers clothing alterations and adjustments. She was delighted to help the young people and did so with great kindness and care. 👗
❤️ We are very grateful for her generous donation, which gave the children an opportunity to explore the world of fashion through clothing and creative activities.

Together, we remembered the stories of the heroes of the 1848–49 Hungarian Revolution and War of Independence. ❤️🤍💚

A nyári táborunk egyik legkülönlegesebb része az volt, hogy idén 10 külföldi önkéntes érkezett hozzánk a világ különböző pontjairól. 🌍
A tábor során nemcsak a programok szervezésében segítettek, hanem egy-egy napon bemutatták saját országukat is a gyerekeknek. Ezek az előadások remek lehetőséget adtak arra, hogy a gyerekek új kultúrákat, hagyományokat és érdekességeket ismerjenek meg – anélkül, hogy elhagynák a tábort.
A mai képeken az Észtországról szóló bemutatóból láthattok néhány pillanatot. 🇪🇪 Önkéntesünk mesélt az ország történelméről, kultúrájáról, hagyományairól és mindennapi életéről, a gyerekek pedig nagy érdeklődéssel hallgatták az előadást, és sok kérdést tettek fel.
Köszönjük önkéntesünknek, hogy megosztotta velünk országa történeteit és értékeit!

One of the most special parts of our summer camp this year was welcoming 10 international volunteers from different parts of the world. 🌍
Throughout the camp, they not only helped organize activities but also introduced the children to their home countries through engaging presentations. These sessions gave the children a wonderful opportunity to discover new cultures, traditions, and fascinating facts from around the world.
Today’s photos capture moments from the presentation about Estonia. 🇪🇪 Our volunteer shared stories about the country’s history, culture, traditions, and everyday life, while the children listened with great interest and asked many thoughtful questions.
Thank you to our volunteer for introducing us to the rich heritage and culture of Estonia!
We believe that experiences like these help children grow into more curious, open-minded, and understanding individuals. 💙

About Us
We run an Afterschool Program (Tanoda) in Litke, Nógrád County Hungary, where we offer educational and recreational opportunities for socio-economically disadvantaged Roma children. We organize computer courses, arts and crafts, a drama club, group study projects and many other sports and study activities with the leadership of Bandi Oláh, a beloved local community member who lives with a disability.
Join the Team
Regardless of background or education, we welcome everyone to join our diverse team. There are many different ways you can help and participate in our work (program organization, working with children, administration, fundraising, etc.). Your volunteering experience may contribute to your professional development. We look forward to your application!
Transparency
We rely mostly on crowdfunding support and on small grants. The funding is used for the salary of employees, including András Oláh, and for the Tanoda programs, community programs and a summer camp.
