Július 6-án ismét benépesül a Tanoda, és alig várjuk, hogy együtt belevágjunk egy újabb felejthetetlen kalandba!
Külön öröm számunkra, hogy idén **10 nemzetközi önkéntes** csatlakozik hozzánk, akik a világ különböző pontjairól érkeznek – többek között **Ugandából, Azerbajdzsánból, Ukrajnából, Spanyolországból**, és még sok más országból. 🌍 Ők már ma útnak indulnak, hogy hamarosan megérkezzenek hozzánk!
Hiszünk abban, hogy a tábor nemcsak a gyerekeknek, hanem mindannyiunknak lehetőség arra, hogy tanuljunk egymástól, megismerjünk új kultúrákat, megéljük a befogadás erejét, és életre szóló élményeket szerezzünk.
Játékok, sport, vizes programok, közös tanulás, kreatív foglalkozások, sok nevetés és még több közösségi élmény vár ránk! 💦⚽🎨📚

On July 6, the Tarisznya Learning Center will once again be full of life, and we can’t wait to begin another unforgettable adventure together!
This year, we are especially excited to welcome **10 international volunteers** from around the world, including **Uganda, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Spain**, and other countries. 🌍 They are arriving today, and we are so happy to welcome them into our community!
We believe camp is a wonderful opportunity for all of us to learn from one another, share cultures, celebrate inclusivity, and create meaningful memories together.
Games, sports, water play, learning activities, creative programs, lots of laughter, and even more community-building moments are waiting for us! 💦⚽🎨📚

Ma egy nagyon fontos témáról beszélgettünk a gyerekekkel: hogyan tudjuk megvalósítani az álmainkat? 🌟
Minden nagy siker egy álommal kezdődik. 💫 Az álmok segítenek célokat kitűzni, motiválnak bennünket, és erőt adnak ahhoz, hogy ne adjuk fel a nehézségek ellenére sem. Beszélgettünk arról, hogy az álmaink eléréséhez fontos a kitartás, a tanulás, az önbizalom és a kemény munka. 🚀📚
A foglalkozás során a gyerekek megosztották egymással saját álmaikat, ötleteiket és terveiket. Nagyszerű volt látni, hogy milyen bátran gondolkodnak a jövőjükről, és milyen lelkesedéssel vesznek részt a közös beszélgetésekben és feladatokban. 😊🤝

💭 How Can We Make Our Dreams Come True? ✨
Today at the Learning Center, we talked with the children about an important topic: how we can make our dreams come true. 🌟
Every great achievement begins with a dream. 💫 Dreams help us set goals, keep us motivated, and give us the strength to keep going even when challenges arise. We discussed how perseverance, learning, self-confidence, and hard work are all important steps toward achieving our dreams. 🚀📚
During the session, the children shared their own dreams, ideas, and plans for the future. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm as they participated in discussions and activities together. 😊🤝
We believe that every child can achieve great things when they are given support, encouragement, and opportunities to grow. ❤️

Beszélgettünk az életéről, a legismertebb verseiről és arról is, hogy hogyan jelenik meg napjaink művészetében és kultúrájában. 🎭🎨A foglalkozás során betekintést nyertünk a János vitéz rajzfilm világába is, amely segített még közelebb hozni Petőfi egyik legismertebb művét a gyerekekhez. 📺✨

We talked about his life, his most famous poems, and how his legacy continues to appear in contemporary art and culture. 🎭🎨
As part of the session, we also watched excerpts from the animated film John the Valiant (János Vitéz), which helped bring one of Petőfi’s best-known works closer to the children. 📺✨
The afternoon was filled with interesting discussions, new knowledge, and shared experiences. 😊📖

About Us
We run an Afterschool Program (Tanoda) in Litke, Nógrád County Hungary, where we offer educational and recreational opportunities for socio-economically disadvantaged Roma children. We organize computer courses, arts and crafts, a drama club, group study projects and many other sports and study activities with the leadership of Bandi Oláh, a beloved local community member who lives with a disability.

Regardless of background or education, we welcome everyone to join our diverse team. There are many different ways you can help and participate in our work (program organization, working with children, administration, fundraising, etc.). Your volunteering experience may contribute to your professional development. We look forward to your application!
Transparency
We rely mostly on crowdfunding support and on small grants. The funding is used for the salary of employees, including András Oláh, and for the Tanoda programs, community programs and a summer camp.
