🌱 Együtt főzzük a jövőt! 🍴♻️
A Tanodában nemrég bolognai makarónit készítettünk 🍝, miközben a fenntartható konyháról és a maradékmentésről tanultunk 🌍💚. Az előadás során sok hasznos tippet kaptunk arról, hogyan csökkenthetjük az ételpazarlást, és mindenki aktívan próbált segíteni a főzésben 👩🍳👨🍳. Volt, aki zöldséget tisztított vagy keverte a szószt, más a tésztát szűrte le, és közben együtt nevettünk és beszélgettünk. 🥕
Ez a projekt nemcsak arról szól, hogy finom ételt készítsünk, hanem arról is, hogy megtanuljuk, hogyan vigyázzunk a Földre 🌎✨. A Tanodában mindenki megtapasztalhatta, hogy a fenntartható főzés nem bonyolult, a maradékot újra felhasználhatjuk, és a zöldségeket is kreatívan bevethetjük 🥕🍲.

🌱 Cooking the Future Together! 🍴♻️
At the Tanoda, we recently made macaroni bolognese 🍝 while learning about sustainable cuisine and reducing food waste 🌍💚. During the session, we received lots of useful tips on how to cut down on food waste, and everyone actively tried to help with the cooking 👩🍳👨🍳. Some kids cleaned and chopped vegetables or stirred the sauce, others drained the pasta, and we laughed and talked together in the meantime🥕.
This project is not just about making delicious food, but also about learning how to take care of the Earth 🌎✨. At the Tanoda, everyone experienced that sustainable cooking isn’t complicated, leftovers can be reused, and vegetables can be combined creatively 🥕🍲.
We thank the Tesco “Start for the Future” grant 🙏💛, which made it possible for us to learn and cook together for the future! 💚

Today in Litke, we spent another wonderful day with the children, who not only discovered the joy of cooking and baking, but also experienced the power of creating something together. 💛
Our theme of the day: “Local Ingredients and Autumn Flavors” 🍎🥔🍂 We learned why supporting Hungarian products is so important — and how meals made from local ingredients can be delicious, nutritious, and budget-friendly. 🥗💡
The kids didn’t just learn how to cook — they also gained valuable knowledge about healthy eating and sustainability. 🌍❤️

🌿 Múlt hétvégén a Tarisznya Táborok Alapítvány képviseletében Sárossy Zita vett részt a Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots csoportvezetői képzésen, ahol a Tápió-vidéki regionális központ példamutató 🌱 környezeti nevelési jógyakorlatait ismerhettük meg. 🌞✨
📚 A résztvevők megismerhették a Tápió Natúrpark, a Hosszúcsemői Tőzegláp és a Koshalmi Őshonos Állatpark tevékenységét 🐄🌾, valamint élménypedagógiai módszereket, fenntartható kertművelést 🌻🌿, és azt is, hogyan lehet már a legkisebbekkel – bölcsődében és óvodában 👶🌼 –környezettudatos szemléletet kialakítani. 🌱 A képzés a Roots & Shoots csapat bemutatkozásával 🚶♀️🍃 zárult.

🌿 Over the weekend, Zita Sárossy represented the Tarisznya Camps Foundation at the Jane Goodall Roots & Shoots group leader training, where we learned about the inspiring 🌱 environmental education best practices of the Tápió Region. 🌞✨
📚 Participants learned about the activities of the Tápió Nature Park, the Hosszúcsemő Peat Bog, and the Koshalmi Native Animal Park 🐄🌾, as well as experiential teaching methods, sustainable gardening 🌻 🌿, and how to develop an environmentally conscious attitude even in the youngest children – in nurseries and kindergartens 👶🌼. 🌱 The training ended with an introduction to the Roots & Shoots team 🚶♀️🍃.

About Us
We run an Afterschool Program (Tanoda) in Litke, Nógrád County Hungary, where we offer educational and recreational opportunities for socio-economically disadvantaged Roma children. We organize computer courses, arts and crafts, a drama club, group study projects and many other sports and study activities with the leadership of Bandi Oláh, a beloved local community member who lives with a disability.
Join the Team
Regardless of background or education, we welcome everyone to join our diverse team. There are many different ways you can help and participate in our work (program organization, working with children, administration, fundraising, etc.). Your volunteering experience may contribute to your professional development. We look forward to your application!
Transparency
We rely mostly on crowdfunding support and on small grants. The funding is used for the salary of employees, including András Oláh, and for the Tanoda programs, community programs and a summer camp.
